Counter space in our camp trailer is hard to come by, we use the top of the stove or the dinette for prepping meals. This was a fun project to get a little more real estate for samich making. Top is about 13”x19”. All of it is cherry finished with mineral oil.

Beautiful and functional … a winner! Love the curved corners/edges.

Very nice G. I have been there. Our camper has a similar pop up mounted on the end of the sink, but it doesn’t have your fancy support bracket. It has metal ones. The original brackets were too small for the size of the counter and gave out, so I got bigger ones. We still use the top of the range though with the fold up lid as counter space.

Thank you guys. Although it doesn’t quite blend in with the mahogany looking laminate used through out the interior, I think it will work out nicely. I had originally wanted to come up with a wacky system of hinges for the support to be self contained and unfold as it was pulled up into position. I’ll stick with the stick support until I feel put out;)
