The two ends of the vanity are out of Walnut. It was bleached and stained and then glazed, each unit had a pull out tray in the bottom. The center pedestal is out of Zebrawood veneers. The door and the drawer are on touch latch’s that’s why there is no pulls. It also has one pull out tray behind the door. Three different builders worked on this at different times. I built the center pedastal. Lance and Allen two of our other builders built the cases and the doors of the side units. Matthew our finisher did all the finish on all the pieces.
The mirrors are made out Poplar and finished with base paint color, silver leafed and then motled with different glazes. The were frames were bandsawed assembled and shaped by hand. The bead was scrapped in by hand after the frames had been shaped.
Thanks for having a look!!

Once again you have done it. Beautifully crafted. I wonder how you did the walnut door panel. I have visions of a giant shaper bit. Now I’ll have to try one…except I’ll try using my planer .

Dennis the panels were done with a router. A box frame was made to hold the panel at the right angle and a large bottom was put on the router base to span the box frame. Two different box frames had to be made though for the different angles on the top, bottom verses sides.
Thanks

Les,
Your team has a lot of really fine work in those vanities and mirrors. I really like the detailing on the feet. Was there a special reason for the center tower?

lightweightladyleftie, There is a piece of art of some kind that sets on top of the center section.
Thanks everyone!
