Three of a Kind

These are three Murphy beds are going to the same customer, well one to one house and the other two to the other. The Murphy beds are all the same. They are my Euro style. The only difference is the leg is 4” taller than on the original. I had to lift everything up so that it cleared the 11” deck on the sofa.

The sofa’s are the unique part of this project. The cushions come off and the bed folds between the arms. The frame was made from poplar with a solid maple deck. The upholstery was outsourced and is a Rave Vinyl to simulate leather. This is the second time I’ve build the sofa design. I just finished the first one a few months ago.
