This cross plaque was made for a young man that is graduating from High school and will enter college. He will be studying some type of Church work but yet is undetermined. The Church we attend is called Faith Lutheran Church so it has a bit of a double meaning.
The cross is made from 1/4 walnut and the plaque is 1/2 oak and the backer board is 1/8 Baltic birch. Both the plaque and cross are Keith Fenton (Shelia Landry Designs) patterns. The plaque is part of one pattern and the cross is part of another. The cross had to be reduced to 65% of it’s original size to fit.
It is finished with hand rubbed poly.
