Here’s another platform bed I made. This one is designed to match the style and materials of the rest of the bedroom furniture. As an interesting sidelight, I built the bed in two pieces; the platform and the headboard. The platform fit through a doorway just fine, but couldn’t make a sharp turn to get it into her bedroom, so I had to take it back to my place and cut it in half to make it work. Doh!

The same thing happened to my massive bookshelf, it doesn’t fit in the office, so it now resides in the living room…haha
