Looks simple and straightfoward stool but strong and nicely finished. Great work!

I may agree with you that the design is simple, but I'm a bit skeptical as to the work involved; from dimensioning to cutting the joinery and from assmblying to finishing. IMHO it varies - depending on the material used, tools available and the skill level of the person.

Nice stool. I fixed quite a high shelf to my shop wall today and need one of these myself now.

Carpet! is that a sub-woofer? Is this a wood-shop or your living room? Nice digs. fancy reclaimed oak love the rustic nail holes.

I agree with Scott - your floor looks a whole lot more homey than the one in my shop!
Stool looks good and solid. I have something like it in my own shop.
