Simple shop stool to replace an old one.
Made from reclaimed Oak.
Nothing fancy but solid as a rock.
You could park a Buick on top of it.
Finish is Minwax natural #209.
Just goofing around in the shop.
Thanks for looking.

Looks simple and straightfoward stool but strong and nicely finished. Great work!

I may agree with you that the design is simple, but I’m a bit skeptical as to the work involved; from dimensioning to cutting the joinery and from assmblying to finishing. IMHO it varies – depending on the material used, tools available and the skill level of the person.

Nice stool. I fixed quite a high shelf to my shop wall today and need one of these myself now.

I agree with Scott – your floor looks a whole lot more homey than the one in my shop!
Stool looks good and solid. I have something like it in my own shop.

Definitely better than the firewood option. Great save.

A very rugged and useful stool in the workshop.
