My mom has a serious love of anything apples. Her house is loaded with everything dealing with apples so when it came time for Christmas I thought a nice simple night light that she could turn on when the grand kids come over or when she wanted some background light.
It’s Spanish cedar with a light coat of golden pecan stain with a few cots of poly. The wiring is from a home depot kit ..complete with switch and everything..something like 8 watts..
I was a little concerned with the bulb not being protected so I tested for over a hr and the wood barely was warm so I feel it was fine.
She loved it ..funny how a simple little lamp can make moms happy ..gotta love ‘em
