Project Information

I had some 2×4 pieces lying about in my shed and wanted to use them up so I decided to make a balance beam for my 2 boys. Its the first time I tried some joinery and it turned out ok apart from a mistake on the legs. I made dados to hold the legs, feet and top of the bench together,3 were nice and tight but 1 was a bit loose. I filled all the screw holes sanded the beam down and used spirit stain to stain it red.
I made a video for my Youtube channel please thumbs up and subscribe!

That beam looks very well built, like you could park a truck on it. Very cool.
