Found an old heavy-duty medical records cabinet for $10 at a warehouse sale. (2 huge drawers)
Added casters I had and a rubber mat top, along with a new paint job.
Now I have a nice mobile scroll saw stand.
Plus, the cabinet had a box in one of the drawers which held a bunch of labeling tape that fit my Casio label maker so I organized my fasteners and put them in a shelf unit I made out an old 2×12 I had laying around.
Very rewarding for a days work in the beautiful weather and all for only $10.00.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Good score Eric! I like the rounded edges of that cabinet. The old cabs had hard right angle corners that were killer – these look really nice!!

What a 2×12 and some ply can accomplish – enjoy :-)

I like blue as well, knowing that is obviously your favorite color….......(-:

I suspect there is a lot of old first class office furniture that goes to the dump without notice…....that would make great shop items….......

Working this weekend, did a little organization though, as well. Gotta make a mobile stand for the router table, hopefully will get time tomorrow.

It looks nice and will certainly do the job. It’s always great when we can prosper off of a good find.

A medical cabinet ? I guess you feel better since you got it. Giving a second life to such cabinet is quite a successful operation !
Being organized, what a satisfaction ! You did kill several birds in this shot, Eric.
Great up-cycling my friend.
Best,
Serge
