“Yawn Don”

Somebody needs to take this fella’ for a trip, or maybe offer him a cup of coffee. Wake up, Don!!! No more sleepy, sleepy! I know what we can do….next time he yawns like this, stick your finger in his mouth…That’ll teach him.

I carved this fella’ the way that I carve just about all of my carvings….using rotary hand tools- more specifically, a Foredom. Just a dab, tad, smidgen or dollop of oil paint was used to accentuate the cuts. No chain saws were used on this small carving for the safety of myself and Don. Maybe I should’ve used the chainsaw, though, because his yawns are starting to make me yawn. I hate you, Don….Stop it!

This walking stick wood spirit carving is 54 1/2” long and 1 1 1/2” thick throughout.

I think you’d be doing quite the trick if you had done this fine work with a chainsaw. Yawn!

Josh, let the poor bloke have a sleep. He is obviously very, very tired.
Great job, I love him.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Josh, I love this. Your mustaches and beards are great but I also fond of this one as well.
