Another wall piece. The outer banks of the river are constructed of Birdseye Maple whose grain and figure seems to dance in the light. The panel on which the banks set measures 10” wide by 23” tall and is made of solid quarter sawn Purple Heart, which has a deep rich purple color. The panel is reinforced by two purple heart backer strips which also function as the mounting system for the piece. When mounted, via a simple cleat system, the panel is spaced approximately 3/4” inch from the wall and appears to be floating.

Dimensions: 10”L x 1.5”W X 23”H

Real nice, would look great mounted on a wall. Nice choice of woods.

I don’t know about all the “dancing in the light” but I do agree that this is a very attractive piece and would probably look really cool hanging on a wall in a home with the proper decor.
Well done.
