Recently “mostly” finished this bar. I still have to make doors for the cabinet, but, I live in heck on earth and it’s turning really hot. So, the shop is closing until the late fall. It’s made of oak plywood, walnut, and the flat part of the bar top is walnut plywood. I now see why if you purchase a bar from say Costco or something, it’s going to be at least $4000. For the rail, I face glued two 5 1/2 X 3/4 walnut, then got to try out the cove cut on my tablesaw. It went pretty well, but I had to sand the heck out of it to get the grooves out. All in all, a fun and challenging build.

Nice work. I am sure it will be enjoyed.

I am slowly working on my man cave in the bonus area and I may just have to copy your idea. My plans are to make my cabinetry with maple and walnut and your bar design would fit in nicely.
