This is Stingray..not actually in the book but found on the net..yes It is a Lois Ventura
Had some Camphor Laurel a mate saved from the fire and decided this would be a cool look. Mate of the Mate who bought the first box wanted this one for his Lady Friend. I still have 12 boxes on the go at the moment all in various stages of completion.

This is another nice box. The projects that can be created from “firewood” never ceases to amaze me. Great save on the wood. Instead of being converted into btus the wood is now a keepsake piece.

A beautifully created box. I’ve made on bandsawn box and it was quite fun, but the wife has me doing flat work at the present time.
