Custom designed and built from the tile up..this fort was part of a major backyard remodel. It’s still a huge hit with the kids and has given us hours of free time while they are entertained. It included a pulley system and steering wheel..for those voyages across the Pacific. It’s built from extra pieces of a new redwood fence over a PT frame.

Great project.
The girl is just watching while the knights look prepared to fight the intruder (not in the picture).
What is the most rewarding thing to do than being able to make ‘em happy – especially kids.

Great project, lots of fun for everyone! I’d put another up right fence piece between the existing ones. The gap is too wide, the kids could fall through.

As a dad myself, there were few things more rewarding than building something for my sons. Although I never built them anything like you have done for your children, they sure enjoyed the things I built.
You did a great job on the “fort.” Your kids will have many happy hours playing in it. It looks beautifully built.

WHeww, that was close…the kids are in the room with me and almost saw this…then I’d have yet another project to do on my “Yard Projects 2 do list”. Looks great!
