These might not be made out of wood, but all the techniques were what I would have used if they were made out of wood from using the TS, router, planer, locking miter corner joints, pocket screws and pinners.

Last fall I was installing a set of stairs for a customer and he asked if I could make him 6 panelposts for his driveway lamps. I told him sure, how many do you want? 6, but I want them made out of AZEK instead of wood. AZEK is kind of like PVC. I works just like your using a soft wood. Real messy though, but the shavings weren’t as staticicky as you would think.

While I like to do wood projects, sometimes “maintenance free” wins the day. I used this stuff as pillars on my front porch.

Staticicky? that’s a new term. I’ve used my table saw to cut foam insulation…that was definitely staticicky. I’m still cleaning up little foam beads they even managed to get inside my heater vents inside my car!!!
