I thought I had made enough of these 1922 race cars for Christmas 2015 family gifts…..and I posted these cars on previous posts:

But everyone who has seen them, absolutely loves them. I ended up giving a blue car to a co-worker as a going away gift because he transferred to another site in the company.

Then we got the news we will have our first grand-daughter in October :)

So, this drove me to make another batch of 4 cars, including a pink one for the grand-daughter.

To read about my trials & tribulations of making these cars, see my woodworking web site.

These are all very nice and it’s a great design.

DaleMaley Love your wooden toy and went to your site and found the book title, so did a search and really like the book your toy came from.
Has many simple projects to try.
It is a school work book for a 1922 wood working class so has how toes.
It has some chapters on mass producing these toys that I fount quite interesting.

Thanks for showing us your toys and the cool book.

Thanks everyone :)

My co-worker is 28 years old, and he loves the blue car I gave him for a going away present… I think he is still a kid at heart!

Now I know of some of my female customers who would come straight to us for financing and accept any rate we quoted if only they made a real pink car like this in real life!
