Wife wanted an end table. I made it from pine 2×4 i had lying around. the top was from a 2×6 my brother found in a dump. i had to resaw the 2×4 for the sides and legs for their shape. the top i remilled and glued up. legs have red sedona stain and then all is finished over in amber shellac.

Looks pretty good Joe. You’re doing great things with reclaimed lumber.

I made a trestle table from the floorboards and beams from the portion of my 1735 house that I had to remove. Lots of sentiment. One suggestion is to limit the neck twisting worldwide by rotating your image. Here is a blog I submitted to help you along…..Taking better pictures

i did and for some reason it didnt save or something after it being late and all i gave up trying. i am using gimp and for some reason it would allow me to rotate it because it had opened 3 images at once. i will try to fix when i get a change

ps i used to be a professional photographer so the picture deal was kind of embarrasing. photography was how i paid my way through college to get my degree in computer science. i use linux and sometimes permissions get to where you cant even change the file, turned out that the permissions were keeping me from saving it with the rotation.
