a simple treasure chest

Project by daniel67usmc posted 254 days ago 379 views 1 time favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This was a simple chest I made for my son over a weekend. He wanted something to put his pirate stuff in. I decorated it with strips of leather strapping and rivets. I also carved his initials into the front.

Nice job…it sure does look like it was just hauled off a ship. I bet your son is really excited about it.

Thanks SnowyRiver- he does like it and that was the look we were going for. I also got him some replica gold and silver pirate coins to place inside. the distressing came out pretty good.

Ooh-Rah! Great looking project. From one Marine to another – Semper Fi on the craftsmanship!
