More from this past Christmas, a boxes for the wife, mother, and sisters in law. Curly maple + Padauk, Walnut +Yellowheart, Walnut + Curly Maple, and Zebrawood+Sapele. Basic construction along the lines of the article from last year, not sure what magazine. Bookmatched to chase the grain around the corners.

The finish is 3 coats of laquer, zoohoot. Would have done one more, but the last was put on Christmas eve.

Exceptional job maintaining the grain pattern around the boxes, especially visible on the zebra wood. Nice job!

The Zebrawood box is truly awesome ….love the grain wrap on all of them but the Zwood is my favorite : )
