This is a twined rug frame – it’s the first thing I’ve ever made myself. I know it’s rough, but it works for what I need it for!

I look at this and wonder…how much of a stretch would it be to learn how to use this? My next thoughts are about all those scraps and bags of “shop rags” I have stashed away. heh.

Hey, it looks pretty good from over here.
If you ever up grade the loom, there are a few things you could do to make it better. And as you use it they will be very apparent.
You might have scribed a line before you put the tacks in to keep the alignment straight … if you wanted it that way.
now, about that big gap in the middle of your rug … Yuck, yuck.
I think you are on your way to becoming a woodworking rug maker … not to many around.
And by the way, welcome to LJ’s, I’m looking forward to your next project.
