Made this little box from the scrap that was left over from the flame-elder corner shelf I made earlier. It measures 5” x 4 1/2” x 2 1/2” and is finished with Howards wax. Will make a nice little gift for someone. Thanks for the looks and comments.

Nice job! Very cool wood and I love the live edge. Those look like “Patron” hinges from here.

Roger—gfadvm….....the hinges are similar to “patron” hinges but there is no overlap of the top. The hinge is just attached directly to the side of the top.

Don’t think I have seen that permutation of the “Patron” hinge but I like it.
