This is a knife I have been working on for the last two weeks. It’s a birthday gift for my friend. I made everything for the knife except the blade. The handle is made out of purpleheart and the guard is out of brass. The blade is a laminated blade made by the norwegian knife company Brusletto. The finished knife has an excellent feel to it and it will be hard to let it go, haha.

Great job on that. Don’t worry, you have the bug now, there will be more, and better.

Looks like a good work knife to me…if the blade gets to long it becomes more of a weapon.
Nice job.

Awesome gift…
Did the blade come already ground or did you shape it?
What grade steel did you decide on?
