This is first one I’ve built, I just used some left over pine I had laying around. No stain, just coated with about 6 coats of spray lacquer. It amplifies it pretty well, but I should have made it a horn shape instead. The cassette was transferred using the slick backing paper from those address label sheets.

Looks nice. Would it possible to give an idea of the inside detail?

Jim, It’s just pine, nothing fancy.

George, The inside is just open, I played around with some baffles inside the opening but nothing seemed to make it any louder.

The phone that is in the 2nd picture is my old phone, my new phone fits the hole nice and snug.
