I got some new carbide Burrs for my dremmel so I decided to carve and wood burn my YouTube channel name on some scrap oak to try them out,Its not the best carving in the world but it was fun to make!
Its my second power carving I found it very quick at removing material but it ran away from me once or twice but I was able to fix most mistakes I made,I think I would have done a neater job with my hand tools.I woodburned the letters and outer border before finishing. I sanded the woodburned areas to 240 grit to give a vintage feel to the plaque and used a spray polyurethane lacquer to finish the carving. I made a YouTube video of the process Please thumbs up and subscribe!
