In late Jan of this year, I decided to treat myself to a Scroll Saw as a reward for quitting smoking, and ordered the Proxxon DSH Saw.

I’d never really used a Scroll Saw before, but hey….I was determined that I’d get used to it & learn the craft of Scrolling.

Now, 3 Months later, I’ve made these 2 framed projects.

The 1st, a Maori Cross design, is one that I’ve adapted from a Tattoo design, and the 2nd, the Rose, is a design I found online somewhere. They are both cut in 1/8th inch Baltic Birch ply, and the total size of each piece is A4 Paper size. Both are finished with 2 coats of Satin finish spray lacquer.

Looks like you quickly figured out the scroll saw. You should join us at Scroll Saw Village (maybe you are). Good bunch of scroller, several from England.
