I offered to make a tool box for a local not-for-profit leaders who build a garden at the local elementary school. He had noticed my toolbox and admired it, so I made one to put his “thank you” plaque on. He is a carpenter and could have easily made one, but it was a fun project and turned out well. I was in a hurry so I just used red oak from HD but bought the walnut trim and dowel from Rockler in Pasadena.
