I’m not sure if I supposed to enter two tables or not, but I built two and so I is’a postin two!
This table is identical in design to the earlier one I posted. This one has Bubinga inlay, a book-matched “crotch” top and concealed drawer. I used 2 coats of sealer, 5 coats of poly and a coat of wax.
This “challenge” made me put away excuses and try my hand at inlay. I like it a lot! It’s very time consuming, but I think I’ll be doing more in the future! Thanks again to Lumberjocks, (Martin, Karson and others) and Popular Woodworking for starting the contest, it was fun!

I love it and the hidden drawer is the best feature in my book.

This has been a great challenge and has certainly demonstrated that there are a gazillion woodworkers that are better at this than I am. Great table.

Great pair of tables Schreoder. I don’t think you’ll get two years of Popular Woodworking. But great job.
