The wall, 144 pieces of rose wood, open segmented turning.
The base, 1 piece of cider. Total of 169 p
Diameter at the rim, 280 mm

beautiful bowl sam, there sure is a lot of figure going on in that bottom piece…so what do you do to make sure its cleaned up inside each of the squares…i am not a turner, but i figure its glued up with the openings already there…

Thanks for sharing Sam ! Excuse this ignorant American, but enlightenment is in order….Please ? What is “Cider” ? I only know that it is gorgeous and highly figured and makes this bowl dance from within…. Thanks , don s.
