Fifty or so years ago a neighbor of mine gave me (a boy at that time) a “defanged” 50-cal bullet mounted on a small base.
I have kept if all that time and recently my wife discarded a mounted copy of her high-school diploma. I confiscated the mount (solid walnut board), cut, planed, framed, and refinished it, and used it to hold the bullet in all of its Brasso polished glory.
The thing is nothing if not unique.

I first like that you have hung on to it for 50 years. Secondly, that’s a neat display for it. Thirdly…..dude, you have got one cool, organized shop.

I agree that it is a neat display for the 50 – cal casing and bullet. The only thing that does not reflect is the size of the 50 – cal. They are one big ordnance.

My Avater is a 44 magnum bullet doorbell. I made a headstop button for my RC Helicopter out of the bottom of a .50 cal bullet.
I have 1 81 mm mortar casing and 2 40 mm navy shell casings. The 40’s are bookends, The 81 holds small dowels and rods.
I like ordanance. Being an Army vet I like things that go boom.
I like your display. In every war the enemy always say they hated the 50’s
