This is a bookcase I built for my little girl. I had a plan in my head, then the wife gave me a Pottery Barn Kids magazine with a very similar design. It is poplar plywood with a poplar face frame. I routed out some windows and added some window trim. Roof is at a 30 deg angle. Approx dimensions are 4.5’ H x 3’ W x 15” D. It was a fun project that took me about 3 weekends (I’m slow and I am a terrible painter)

looks good to me, Charlie. Three weekends doesn’t seem that long to me. And, as you say so perfectly say: woodworking – patience = firewood!
Pottery Barn has some great inspiration, doesn’t it? I’m going to attempt to build several things out of there for my little ones.

Very nice work. I just completed mine this weekend. I really like your window trim detail work.
Here is mine that I just posted finished photos of today. http://lumberjocks.com/projects/14278
