This is my 2nd “Swirl Bowl”. I made it out of Purpleheart and birch veneer. I made it to match a vase and a platter I made previously for my wife.

These bowls are certainly a little more work than a basic segmented bowl, but well worth the extra effort. I learned how to build these by watching this video on You Tube: Dizzy Bowl

I like your swirl bowl..the color is a knockout..the platter & display holder are a great combo

I finally figured out how you did it. Knowing actually makes me appreciate it more. I don’t have anywhere near the skills to make such a masterpiece.
