The last time I stood behind a lathe was in high school shop class. I was making a pool cue for my best friend as a gift. He was moving across the country. The pool cue turned out as good as it could have, I graduated and never used a lathe since. I finally was able to get a lath from Rockler and thought a pen turning video would be the perfect first project to get my feet wet again.

I am new at turning, so if you see anything you can give me advice on. Please do so!

Turning is so relaxing. Just you and the wood. I am going to really enjoy this

Very nice. I am going to try this project on my lathe. Keep up the good work!
