I built this oak library for my bosses house. It is the second one I built. the first one was bigger and had drop finials that were fluted, and had to be fabricated since I’ve never seen anything like that before. The turnings, carved lambs tongue edges, and barley twists were fun to build.the drawers have 3/16th cock beaded edges. The muntin bars in the doors came out very good as well. The thing about any of this is to take your time, enjoy what your doing and do the best you can.—-Isn’t that what its all about?? Nothing like hurrying through a project only to find something is not right.

Very, very nice work! This is simply beautiful.
To me, a library finished like this always makes me drool. In this day and age of computer screens and online documents, I still like the look, feel and smell of real books.

Hi Artie
I feel like a real beginner when I see top notch work like yours so very impressive. Very nicely done. I guess if I’m fortunate enough to gain another 20 years experience I might be up to a challenging project like this.
Thanks for sharing.
