A coffee table built to mimic a Torii Gate. Well, two torii Gates. I wanted to use cherry and ebony but, ebony was a bit pricey so I used red oak with a ebony stain to cheat. I tried to mimic the torii gates of Asia. I experimented with potassium dichloride to give the cherry an aged look. I then Sealed everything with a homemade brew that is similar to Arm -R- Seal. Topped it off with a hefty piece of glass. I designed and constructed it to come apart into several pieces. I am planning to make two end tables to match. Thanks for looking.

Great looking Torii coffee table! I love the look of it, and the use of a glass top to accentuate them!
