You cook the cake in the mold in the oven? I have had this in Ukraine but had no idea how it was made.

God forbid :) This is for cottage cheese paskha – the mold is filled-out with mix of cottage cheese, raisins, and almond slices in cheesecloth bag, and left for a day in a cold place to let excess liquid to drain, then put the dried out mass on the plate – it keeps shape of pyramid. And is really tasty.

I see, interesting. Not being much for sweets or cake I tend to shy away from desserts. Now if it had chocolate in it here at my place it would be gone by nightfall. My wife being the SWEET tooth of the two of us.
