Project Information

The Ravenwood Wine Hutch is made from quarter sawn local Black Oak, Red Gum Eucalyptus, Sugar Pine and Oak-ApplePly. The highly colorful and figured Red Gum contrasts nicely with the Black Oak creating a stunning visual appeal.

The inside has stem ware racks, 15 half-bottle racks and a small dovetailed drawer. The lower rack holds 28 full size bottles.

Dimensions: 42" wide, 17" deep, and 45" tall.

Nice joinery on the drawers, the photos do not do this project justice.

Awesome job on your wine rack cabinet. You did a great job with your wood selection too! I haven't seen a selection like this before. Very stunning!

Man this is a great looking wine cabinet! I like the combination of woods, the dovetails, and the overall shape and design!

Ok, I might be stealing some inspiration for this one. I have been wanting to make a wine/liquor cabinet for a while now.
This is exactly what I've been thinking of.

I love Eucalyptus. I have a lot of it that I have milled from locally felled trees. The character it has is beautiful and the way it contrasts with other woods is wonderful.

Excellent job.

Thanks for all the great comments.
It was a fun build for sure. My card scrapper sure got a work out if you can imagine how hard that grain was to work. It was like end grain coming out the face.
