The Ravenwood Wine Hutch is made from quarter sawn local Black Oak, Red Gum Eucalyptus, Sugar Pine and Oak-ApplePly. The highly colorful and figured Red Gum contrasts nicely with the Black Oak creating a stunning visual appeal.

The inside has stem ware racks, 15 half-bottle racks and a small dovetailed drawer. The lower rack holds 28 full size bottles.

Dimensions: 42” wide, 17” deep, and 45” tall.

Nice joinery on the drawers, the photos do not do this project justice.

Awesome job on your wine rack cabinet. You did a great job with your wood selection too! I haven’t seen a selection like this before. Very stunning!

Man this is a great looking wine cabinet! I like the combination of woods, the dovetails, and the overall shape and design!

You’ve definitely earned your glass of vino tonight!

Ok, I might be stealing some inspiration for this one. I have been wanting to make a wine/liquor cabinet for a while now.
This is exactly what I’ve been thinking of.

I love Eucalyptus. I have a lot of it that I have milled from locally felled trees. The character it has is beautiful and the way it contrasts with other woods is wonderful.

Excellent job.

Wow, love it. What a striking design, catches the eye immediately. You’ll be getting a lot of inquiries for that one.

Incredible desig! I like those colours. Nice work with all those details – dovetails, bottle and glass racks – as WINE deserve it! Cheers!

Thanks for all the great comments.
It was a fun build for sure. My card scrapper sure got a work out if you can imagine how hard that grain was to work. It was like end grain coming out the face.

Have your say...
