These boxes are made from White Oak (I think) and Black Walnut. This was my 1st attempt at making box joints. They didn’t come out exactly as I had hoped, but a little wood filler helped to make their appearance much better. I used a jig with my router table that I bought from Rockler to make the joints. The box with the slide was finished with Tung Oil and the all Walnut with Danish Oil.

Hi Rus,

me again! if that’s a first attempt with box joints I would not be too concerned.

From memory I cut the joints off my first Box attempt a couple of times as I perfected the table saw and jig to make them
