This bench was made as a wedding gift for a good friend who got married last summer. It’s a mixture of red oak and QSWO. The bench contains 36 M&T joints. The finish is a mix of Early American and Colonial Maple, with a poly clear coat.

I love this bench. Did you design it? What are the dimensions? It is very nice work and a great looking bench. I am sure the new couple will love it.

This is a gorgeous bench. I am a big fan of mission style furniture and you did a great job on the design and construction of this piece. I am sure that the novelty of constructing all those M&T joints wore off after the first few but the end result does justify the means with this type of joinery.

Nice job.

Thanks for the all the kinds words everyone. Most of my projects are my own design, but this one was an “interpretation” from a pic that the wedding couple showed me….wish I could take credit for it! Dimensions are roughly 39”w x 17”h (seat height) x 14” deep.
