I live where aviation took off..near Dayton. So I made this wall plaque to honor their contributions. It is about their bicycles and what drove them to their aviation ideas. I used some junk cedar and pine framing I made and did them up like this. I scroll-sawed the bicycle out of 1/8” plywood and painted it. I thought maybe a bicycle head tube badge would be nice so I scroll-sawed the shape and curved it around my hammer’s handle and glued it on a piece of scrap hardwood. I got about $7 into this one.

I really like the design and execution. I would be proud to have it on my office wall.
