Here is a corner armoire I just finished. The pictures didnt turn out as good as i like, their a little too dark.
This is an added piece to the blanket chest and the head board, and should be two more pieces.
It is made of walnut that had been stored in a barn for around 15 yrs. Some of the boards straightedged over 20” and were very nice. Walnut is some kind of beautiful. The cabinet is made in two pieces divided into 60/40.
It is 92” tall with 30” out of corner. I put a lot softer finish on this one, it has around 6 coats of satin lacquer.
Baby girl is the shop room floor model. If there`s a picture being taken shes gona be in it, if all possible.
All in all, I think it turned out to be what She ordered, Plain , simple and beautiful.
Thanks for looking.

Nice, I’m in the process of making a corner raised panel door cabinet. My first one. I hope it comes out as nice as yours.
Little girl is a doll. I’ve got a couple like that but a bit older. Enjoy ‘em while you can.

Mike, this is beautiful. Great craftsmanship. I agree it’s hard to beat walnut.
Oh, and it looks like your daughter could melt your heart at a moments notice.

This is a nice looking piece. These corner cabinets are a bit harder to make than they look. Yours turned out beautifully. I have a couple grand daughters that are probably close to her in age. I will get to see them for the 1st time since Thanksgiving. As Daniel said, “Enjoy ‘em while you can.”

That is some beautiful walnut, and you really did it justice with this piece. Gorgeous! (and so is the model!)
