This is a simple project you may want to try.
I made it for my grandson Rocky’s Birthday
The timber is New Guinea Rosewood

I saw the pictures of the Ninja Turtles in the minions get up and imediately thought I know someone that would love it so I made a photo frame for Rocky.

Not content with just a basic frame I decided to make it backless, and set about working out how I could do it, and have the ability to change the photo later.

There is a blog: http://lumberjocks.com/robscastle/blog/55858 detailing the process used.

Nice frame & pic, Rob! FYI, the term is ‘minions’ not millions. Gotta try to keep up with the young uns, Grandpa! :-)
Thanks for sharing.

Rob, nice project. Grampa projects are the best. Do your readers a favor and edit in a link to your blog. Start by clicking on the red “edit” in your posting.

Method: Highlight the “lumberjocks.com/blog/whatever” at the very top of the blog page.
Hold down Control+c (that puts the highlighted material in temporary memory)
Highlight a word in your posting text.
Click on the link icon above. Erase the Http that appears in the box
Hold down Control+v. (that moves the information from temporary memory to where your cursor is blinking)
Go back to the text and you should have a blue word that will move you to the linked material.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the ”save changes” box.

It sounds difficult, but once you have done it a few times it goes rapidly.
