3’ x 8’ dining table. My customer wanted a table that had a reclaimed look but could not afford the barn wood or pallet wood. My solution was multi stained 2×4’s ripped down to 3” wide and planed to 1 1/4” thick. I stained then biscuit joined the together. 3 coats of heavy poly with 2 coats of Briwax on top.

I really like the look. How did you do the base?

3 1/2” apron pocket screwed to the top through enlarged holes and morticed into the legs. The legs are 4×4 white wood, tapered down 5/8” on two sides to the bottom.
