Met an awesome guy on a flight from Boston. His mom had passed and he was back home taking care of things. He taught me to play cribbage and we became fast friends. He was the inspiration for this project.

Mike, do you have any pictures showing how you did the drawer, but I like your idea as well.

I will take some and post them Larry. Cut a 1/4” daddo in the bottom portion of all the sides. Then took two pieces of maple 1/4” thick and made bottom section the same size as the board on the top. Cut that maple in half and one is stationary. The other slides out. Glued up the miters on one side but not the other. Glued the moving maple only to the end piece that pulls out. Put magnets in those corners to hold it tight when closed. Lastly added some dividers and flocking.
