Gift for a marine leaving the Squadron. intarsia wings used a pocket knife to shape/carve wings. This was a first for me, a lot more time than expected but a lot of fun to build. Thanks for all the inspiration on this site.

That is one damn fine carving job to be done with only that pocket knife. Exceedingly well done! I image that you did spend a great deal of time on this project. What type of wood is that?
