This one is an original design. The body is cherry with a hand carved Wood Duck insert. 8 3/4”T x 17”W x 3 1/2”D. Credit to my wife for the carving and finish. We are fortunate to live in an area that derives much of its income from forest products and as such, we can obtain many different varieties of local wood. The cherry is a prime example.

A very charming piece. Some berry pretty cherry. I also love the duck. I could definitely see this on my mantle. :-)

Very fine work, the carving and the clock face go great together. Very unique.

Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated.

Buckethead, we have shown this clock several times and the men always seem to gravitate to it. But then, the wife gets involved and they always walk away with a different one. It leaves me scratching my head every time. Just last week, we had a customer request one with a wildlife scene to match his home. I took this one along with several others for him and his wife to look at. He wanted the wood duck, but she picked one with a bear. Guess which one they took?
