This was a special project. My daughter came up with the design for the bed and then I went to work. It’s made from Cedar. All columns are made with rail, style and raised panel sections on all four sides. The wiring was a new twist. I bough quick connect electrical connections and made it so you can remove the headboard, side board and rails by disconnecting the plugs.

Thanks Chris. Each post has it’s own switch on the head board. Complete with USB chargers for the ipads!

Wow…...great job! Very original. I am in the process of making a bedroom set and wish I thought of something like this.

Great design idea… are the lights incandescent or LED?

Incandescent. I used soft glow 60 watt bulbs to soften it up.

Big Box Furniture brands could use your daughter’s designing abilities for the best! Very clever, and well executed :) Thanks for sharing.
