Free Guitar Hangers

I got tired of my instruments sitting around in cases, so I made some wall hangers for them. I used some of the osage orange I milled a while ago and some pallet wood I had sitting around.

I put stain on the pallet wood (the same stain I used on my desk) and poly over the whole thing.

This was one of those perfect projects: it takes less than a day to finish, it provides both a utilitarian and aesthetic value to life, and it makes the wife happy.

I had that bass for a while and sold it on eBay. You didn’t buy that on eBay did you? lol

Nope. Bought it new. That’d be funny, though.

Looks great – I have a project I’m almost ready to start which is display cases for my instruments – it’s the reason I recently started to learn about woodworking

I’m still setting up shop and creating a few jigs and dust collector pieces and then hopefully I’ll create the first template out of mdf hopefully if that comes out ok i’ll move on to real wood cases lol

Thanks for sharing – gives me an idea for the inside of the cases!

Have your say...
