Little workbench stand

Project by goldenhands posted 274 days ago 1353 views 2 times favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a small workbech which I have made for my own workshop.
Now I am making e few of those to separate different techniques that I am doing like
marquetry, polishing, carving, gilding. The top is a an MDF board, vises could be attached but I do not need it really. Made of pine with ebony pins and wedges. Very simple and basic joinery.

Nice work.

I have to say, that’s the fanciest joinery I’ve ever seen on construction-grade 2×4s. :-)

Beautiful Joints!

You called this “simple” joinery! Looks pretty sophisticated to me!

I agree with Charlie and Lew – very fancy and not simple – just shows with a little work – that even construction grade lumber can be made useful and beautiful.
