This is one end of a 4’ x 10’ island, to seperate the kitchen from breakfast and den area, Unit was three parts, base, top (kitchen side) with appliance garages and wine storage and den side with black/brass fireplace screen. this part has a mirror back and lighting to display a special piece of china, the sides also have doors for storage.
Unit is all Walnut, they wanted an older but not distressed look.

That’s a fantastic piece of woodworking!
I don’t quite get putting something big like that at the end of an island, but to each his own.
