I framed a white board with alder and mitered the corners. My first splines for the mitered corners after making a sled on the table saw that rides over the fence are walnut. I glued on a piece of walnut for the tray and used a goose neck scraper to recess the tray a slight bit. I mortised the two metal keyhole hangers into the back using my new Bosch Colt (pretty slick).

Thanks, I had to do a lot of tinkering with the miters. I put the white board in a groove and think that rabbeting them into the back would be much less headache.
